Source of Funds Requirements

Why GlacierPay may ask about the source of your funds, what evidence satisfies a request, and how to prepare so trading is not interrupted.

As part of ongoing due diligence, we may ask you to evidence the source of the funds or assets you trade. This is a standard requirement for a regulated MSB and helps protect both you and the wider platform.

When a request happens

A source-of-funds request can arise at onboarding, when activity changes in size or pattern, or as part of periodic review. It is not a sign of suspicion, it is part of maintaining a well-documented relationship.

What satisfies a request

The right evidence depends on where the funds originate. Clear, recent documentation that ties the funds to a legitimate activity is what we are looking for.

  • Business bank statements showing operating revenue
  • Audited financial statements or management accounts
  • Records of an asset sale, investment round, or loan
  • Contracts or invoices supporting a specific inflow

Keeping these records organised means you can respond quickly if we ask. A prompt, complete response is the surest way to keep your trading uninterrupted while a review is completed.
