Opening a GlacierPay Account

How institutional clients open a GlacierPay OTC account, what to prepare before you apply, and what happens between signup and your first trade.

GlacierPay is an institutional OTC desk for fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat trading. Accounts are opened for registered businesses, not for personal use, so the process is built around your legal entity and the people authorised to act on its behalf.

Before you apply

Gather the essentials for your entity so onboarding moves quickly. Having these ready means your relationship manager can begin verification on the same day you submit.

  • Legal entity name, registration number, and jurisdiction of incorporation
  • Primary contact and at least one authorised trader for your account
  • Expected monthly trading volume and the currency pairs you intend to use
  • The fiat bank account and crypto wallets you plan to settle to

What happens after signup

Once you create an account, you are guided into onboarding and know-your-business (KYB) review. A relationship manager is assigned to your entity and can answer questions in parallel while documents are checked. Trading is enabled only after KYB is approved and your settlement instructions have been confirmed.

You can explore the dashboard, review supported pairs, and configure users while verification is in progress. This lets your team be ready to trade the moment your account is approved.
