RemoteFull timeBusiness

About the role

As a Business Development Manager at GlacierPay you build the partnerships and corridors that expand where and how our desk can trade. You will identify new markets, negotiate relationships with liquidity providers, banking partners, and referral channels, and open settlement corridors that unlock new client demand.

GlacierPay is a FINTRAC-registered Canadian MSB (MSB #C10001598) operating an institutional OTC desk that settles more than $200M each month for 350+ clients across 45+ countries. Your work directly widens the map of what the business can offer and where it can grow.

This is a fully remote, strategic role for someone who can think in terms of markets and structures, build trust with partners across regions, and turn a handshake into a durable revenue channel.

What you will do

  • Identify and prioritize new markets, corridors, and partnership opportunities for the desk.
  • Negotiate and structure relationships with liquidity providers, banking partners, and referral channels.
  • Open new fiat and crypto settlement corridors to unlock client demand in additional regions.
  • Build the commercial case for entering a new market, including volume, margin, and compliance considerations.
  • Work with compliance to ensure new partners and corridors meet regulatory and risk standards.
  • Coordinate with sales and trading to convert new partnerships into live, trading client flow.
  • Represent GlacierPay with partners and at industry events to build the desk's reputation and reach.

What we are looking for

  • 4+ years in business development, partnerships, or corporate development within crypto, payments, or financial services.
  • Track record of closing partnerships or market-entry deals that generated measurable revenue.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to model the economics of a new market or corridor.
  • Comfort negotiating with liquidity providers, banks, and other institutional counterparties.
  • Understanding of cross-border settlement, fiat rails, and digital asset flows.
  • Self-starting operator who can build structure in a fast-moving, fully remote environment.

Nice to have

  • Existing relationships with banking partners, liquidity providers, or payment networks.
  • Experience opening new regions or corridors for a regulated financial business.
  • Familiarity with MSB, AML, or wider compliance requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Multilingual ability or experience working across several regions.
